How to read a Practical Basketball build

How the build creator is structured, which published sheets have real numbers, and which famous names still have no attribute table.

What the creator asks for

Published sheets say the builder asks for position, height, wingspan, weight, body, handedness, and an optional anomaly, then attribute points, badge points, and one takeover. One build cannot unlock every badge. Guides often leave a stat at 25 when the points have to live somewhere else. That 25 is a dump value in those sheets, not a hidden floor the game forces on every build.

The 22 attribute names used on the full sheets are Close, Layup, Driving dunk, Standing dunk, Mid, Three, Moving, Free throw, Pass, Handle, Post, Interior defense, Perimeter defense, Lateral, Steal, Block, Rebound, Stamina, Speed, Acceleration, Vertical, and Strength.

Height, wingspan, weight, and body change which numbers you can type. Copy a sheet, then check the live creator before you lock it. The alpha added build progression, so an August number can be unavailable now.

Body words that actually appear on sheets include Normal, Slim, Built, and Narrow. Anomaly effects are not published, so do not buy or equip one from a guide's guess.

Four sheets with numbers, kept separate

Use the Builds entries for the full columns. Do not average them.

  • Demigod is a 6 ft 9 in small forward, 6 ft 9 in wingspan, 230 lb, Normal, right-handed, with Downhill or Crafty Finisher named as the takeover. Driving dunk 95, perimeter defense 97, vertical 95, block 85, handle 81, mid 88, three 83. Standing dunk, pass, post, steal, and rebound are parked at 25.
  • Sharpshooter is a 6 ft 6 in shooting guard, 180 lb, Normal, right-handed, Smooth Operator. Mid and three are both 96, handle 88, speed 90. Block, steal, rebound, standing dunk, and post are 25.
  • 6 ft 9 in do-it-all is a slim wing at minimum weight with Downhill. The published line is partial: three 83, pass 71, handle 81 or higher, interior defense 80, block 85, rebound 59, strength 32. The writeup says 81 handle is for Curry Slide, 71 pass is for silver Dish Out, 59 rebound is only bronze Rebound Chaser, and 32 strength is there to hold defensive badges.
  • Diesel center is about 7 ft 2 in, about 255 lb, Built, takeover Diesel, with a Knockdown Shooter stretch alternate. Post, interior defense, block, and rebound are about 90, strength about 93, mid and three about 81. The tildes are in the source. They are not exact caps.

A different October sheet describes a slim 6 ft 8 in forward with driving dunk 96 and perimeter defense 96. That is not the 230 lb Demigod. Both stay in the wiki as separate recipes.

Names without a full sheet

Crafty Walking Bucket, Thieving Floor-General, Crafty Offensive General, and a 6 ft 10 in built power forward appear in an August ranking. Allen Iverson and Aomine are requested names with no Practical Basketball attribute table. Do not paste NBA 2K ratings into this creator.

How to spend the first points

Pick one job. A lock needs perimeter defense, lateral quickness, and the badge line you actually want. A shooter needs mid-range or three at the tier you can reach, not both maxed plus dunks. A big needs post, interior defense, block, rebound, and strength before a guard's handle.

Open Badges and read the bronze line before you add a sixth attribute. Meeting the line is what lets you spend Badge Points. The sheets do not publish a percentage for what most badges do.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do codes 100M and RELEASE still work?

On 2 Nov 2026 those two strings were listed as working, with matching coin rewards. This wiki has not redeemed them. Some pages still say the Shop or Store codes control is missing, so treat a missing button as a build difference, not as a typing error.

Which Practical Basketball listing is this wiki about?

The ALPHA experience by Practical's Games, Place ID 80681221431821. A second public place titled OUT NOW belongs to Practical's Physics V2 and is not the listing this site documents.

Is Practical Basketball free to join?

The public game record lists no price to join. Cosmetics and passes can still cost Robux. No pass names or prices are published here.

Are the PC controls final?

No. The official description calls this an alpha, says nothing is final, and tells players that the control list lives in the community server. The charts here are the inputs that more than one written guide agrees on, and they still need a live recheck.
